Bulk User Delete Tool

Description

The User Bulk Delete App allows authorised agents to delete multiple Deskpro users in one action.

You can build a deletion list by:

• pasting user IDs

• searching for and selecting individual users

• searching for and selecting organisations

Before deletion, you can review the complete list and remove any users you do not want to delete. Once confirmed, the selected users are deleted in bulk.

Deleting a user also deletes their associated tickets. Agent accounts are skipped.

How to Install

1. Go to Admin > Apps & Integrations > Apps > Available.

2. Select Upload and upload the app’s ZIP file.

3. Find the app in the list of available apps.

4. Follow the instructions under the app’s Setup section to configure and install it.

   
   

   Security Considerations

   • Only grant permission to agents/admins who require bulk deletion access.

   • The app uses the permissions of the agent under whose context the API key was generated. It does not use the individual Deskpro permissions of the agent currently using the app.

   • Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

   • Deleting a user also deletes tickets associated with that user. The deletion list should therefore be reviewed carefully before confirmation.

   • Agent accounts are skipped to reduce the risk of agent accounts being deleted and the agent losing access to the Help Desk.
